BEJOU: Ulta Beauty's MUSE Accelerator Graduate - BEJOU

BEJOU: Ulta Beauty's MUSE Accelerator Graduate

You know that moment when a dream that once lived on your vision board starts showing up in real life? That's exactly where we are and we are still pinching ourselves.

We are excited to share that BEJOU has officially graduated from Ulta Beauty's MUSE Accelerator Program as part of the 2025 cohort. Out of over 500 applicants nationwide, we were one of just eight brands selected to participate in this intensive12-week program designed to set emerging BIPOC-founded beauty brands up for long-term retail success.

What We Walked Away With

This experience gave us so much more than we imagined:

  • A grant through Ulta to fuel our next phase of growth
  • Mentorship from industry pioneers like Gina Woods of Donna's Recipe and Alicia Yoon of Peach & Lily, plus fireside chats with founders like Beatrice Dixon of The Honey Pot and Lisa Price of Carol's Daughter
  • Deep dives into retail readiness, supply chain strategy, and brand positioning, marketing, operations; the kind of knowledge that usually takes years to acquire
  • The chance to pitch directly to Ulta Beauty's retail team and connect with investors during Demo Week

Why This Matters

At BEJOU, we have always been about building our community and our sensitive and dark spot celebrities (customers). We are here to serve melanin-rich skin that's been overlooked and skin that deserves ingredients backed by science and rooted in heritage.

Graduating from the MUSE Accelerator means we are working on our growth with intention. With the right partners. In a way that honors why we started this journey in the first place.

Thank You

To our community, the ones who found us at farmers markets, shared us with friends, and believed in Chontaduro before anyone else did. This milestone belongs to you too.

We can't wait to show you what's next

Celebrate With Us

Here’s to the next chapterone step closer to seeing BEJOU in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide, hopefully soon- we do not know when yet but hoping our dream will come true very soon!
